Had dinner at 2201 last night and it was wonderful from the time we walked in the door. We were greeted at the door by friendly staff, the food, decor and everything about our experience was the best that I’ve experienced anywhere in the Harrisburg area. And it’s a BYOB so that’s even better. We brought wine but I saw the staff mixing martini’s for other tables. So just bring your liquor and they are equipped to mix martinis right down to the glasses. You should try this restaurant you won’t be disappointed.

2201 in the boro is our favorite restaurant!! From the atmosphere, to the owners that make you feel at home, the staff is well trained and the food is excellent. This place has it all. I would recommend it to anyone and it is also a BYOB which really helps in this economy. You should give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

After reading the reviews for this reasturant I was very excitedto give it a try. I was throughly dissapointed from the begainning, the server did not have a good understanding of the menu, The service was the slowest I ever experienced and the food remided me of a chain resturant fare with frozen entrees pulled right out of the microwave. All this for a measely $120 for two. What a deal. Save you time and money and go anywhere else.

Food and service are excellent here under the new ownership.

The only downside is that the prices are a bit too pretentious for a BYO. As the reviewer below suggests, dinner for two can easily run $100 (keep in mind that is just for food) here. At those prices your expectations ought to be very high.

    Excellent!

I was here when it was the previous owner, but change is good!

I heard very good things about 2201 and it had high expectations to live up to. This place is 5 stars all the way from the food to the service.

The roasted tomato soup was surprisingly and wonderfully spiced with a hint of cumin. The salads were delicious and perfectly plated. I had the sesame tuna and she had the pecan crusted chicken. Both were seasoned just right and cooked to order. Chicken was still juicy, not dry. The tuna was fresh and seared just right. The toasted sesame gave it just the right amount of nuttiness.

I would highly recommend this small BYOB restaurant in Camp Hill Boro to anyone. Just be prepared to shell out $100 for two.

We had the pleasure of dining here twice over the last month. Our first experience was on 9/29 we enjoyed and excellent strip steak & fresh fish dish. The meal was so nice that we returned last week hoping for a similar experience this time with friends.
Unfortunately this time things were less impressive, the strip steak was no where near as flavorful or tender. Our other guests enjoyed two nice seafood items and Lobster Ravoli. We truly enjoy the atmosphere I hope the steak consistency improves there is some tought competition in the Camp Hill area for good steaks.
