Honestly Tanya; you should have made more of a stink before you paid that check! Im sure the manager would have come to see you! I actually think there is more to this situation than you are leting on! IMO! I’ve eaten there many time…some good some bad..but none of your situation makes any sense!!! So instead of bashing the place….lets hear the whole story!!!

February 8th, 2011. Had a terrible experience tonight at Arooga’s-Hampden. We had a party of 6 to celebrate a birthday. We ordered an appetizer for $13.00 (terrible) 3 of us ordered from the menu and 3 others ordered the all-U-can-eat crab legs. After the 2nd helping of the crab legs one person from our party shared 2 crab legs with one of the people that didn’t order crab legs (simply because they couldn’t finish eating the 2 crab legs and decided to share instead of throw the 2 crab legs away) When we got our bill the waitress told us that the manager had placed an additional $19.00 on our bill because we had shared our crab legs. Unbelievable…we were not there to rip anyone off..if we were we would have only ordered 1 crab leg special..Of course the manager never showed HER face..probably pocketed the additional $19.00 and that was the end of it. WHAT A WAY TO TREAT A CUSTOMER..Will never go back and every chance we get will tell our story, so no one else gets ripped off..HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!! PS..There’s a good chance, if we had not shared the 2 crab legs and left them on the plate..the next customer would have gotten our garbage..,GUARANTEED!!!!!! (AROOGA’S NOT GOOD FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION)
