My husband and I ate here recently. The service, food, and drinks were very good. The tuna is the best I have had in the Harrisburg area. My only complaint is the large TV blaring over the bar. Get rid of that and it almost feels like a NYC place. Keep it classy.
Ok Cafe Atlantis..You are starting to fail me on several things! 1- The service is going down hill..so step it up like you know how! 2- The Food is slipping; i.e the Filets are shrinking in size and the sides are getting overcooked. AND FOR GODS SAKE TEACH THAT BARTENDER HOW TO POUR A GLASS OF WINE; I know you have to watch your pour count but to measure it exactly even when there is only a few drops left in the bottle.. for the amount you charge per glass you should at least add a few ounces! (Your $ per glass is almost what that bottle costs at the liqour store) GET WITH IT!
We have had Sunday brunch here three times and already have plans to go back. The menu choices are varied and when we took out the family 5 of us each had a different item. From basic eggs to eggs benedict we thought the food was great. The homemade cinnamon buns are a treat and you can watch them being made.
Looking forward to going out there for lunch or dinner. The menus look wonderful and the choices will be hard.
I must admit that the first time we went, right after they opened, service was a bit slow and our order got confused but our waitress was very apologetic and subsequent trips have been much improved.
Im lucky to live nearby and eat here quite often. I have to agree with George on the Wine size and price (exactly the reason I order a beer or bring my own bottle of wine). I will however completely disagree with the food and the service comments; it almost seems like you went to the wrong place. The service here is excellent and the food (and I’ve had everything on the menu) is excellent as well. I doubt very highly that if your steak wasn’t as you ordered they would only offer a dessert in fact I know they would have gladly replaced the steak without question! I find the prices accordingly normal and along the lines of Cafe Fresco and Bricco’s downtown and I might add I’ve had several bad experiences at both of those places along with some excellent ones. So maybe you had a bad night personally and had to vent on something but I doubt that Cafe Atlantis is to blame. I would bet you a free dinner that you embelished on a few things!
btw: I don’t work there, I just eat there quite often!
I ate here recently. The experience was lousy. While we waited at the
bar for our table my wife ordered a glass of wine.It was the smallest
amount for $6.00 I ever seen. I ordered a ny strip steak, flavor was
good, but steak was 60% grissel and fat. When waitress came over to
pick up my plate I told her to tell the chef. Whe she came back she
said chef apologized and gve me a free desert. When we went to pay our bill we gave the waitress a coupon my wife bought on internet. No one
seemed to know how to process it.Maybe this was just a bad nite! I
doubt if I would return.
reservations so we waited at the bar. My wife had a glass of

steak, flavor was good but stwas 60% grissel and fat. When

When she came back she said he apoligized and offered me a free
desert.
This was the first time my husband and I dined at the cafe and we had a wonderful time. Not only was the food great but so was the service. As our appetizer we shared the Crab Brushetta, which was wonderful. Then we each had our entrees. Mine was the wasabi tempura tuna which was out of this world, the tuna was done just the way I like it. My husband had the filet and lobster tail, hes very picky about his lobster but he said that it was perfect, along with the filet he said his dinner was superb. The restaurant itself has a very nice atmosphere and very good service. Our waitress made sure our time there was enjoyable. I’ll be sure to dine there again, and to tell all my friends about it.
We just made our second visit to Cafe Atlantis and we were just as pleased this time as we were on the last visit. We’ve tried several different appetizers and entrees and each one was excellent. The dishes are a little different than you usually find and we’ve found that there’s always a little something different that makes their dishes a little different than you’d find anywhere else. We’re already looking forward to going back again to try something different. This is definitely one of our new favorites.
I had dinner there and it was horrible… I mean the food itself wasn’t so bad but it was way too expense for what you get… the service was horrible… so save your gas and money! You can do much better somewhere Downtown!
