I’d probably be much more forgiving about this place if I was a beer drinker…but their big draw…the $2 drafts…means nothing to me.
The appetizers are pretty good, but stay away from the onion rings…waaaaay too heavily over-breaded. I LOVE their homemade potato chips, but once you move away from the appetizer page, the entrees are pretty disappointing. The lasagna portion was huge, but the sauce was pretty bad and I didn’t like the kind of sausage they used. And the chicken in the carbonara was dry and tasteless. Which would be okay if the sauce was better…but it wasn’t. If you stick to apps and sandiches, you’ll probably be just fine…but leave the entrees to the experts at other restaurants.
I agree the place is worth checking out. Have had lunch here for business a couple of times. Seems pricey for the type of crowd that frequents the place. The restaurant never seems very busy, food was ok but really nothing to write home about for the money spent. Based on the number of eating establishments that we frequent it seems that the highend food is wasted on the crowd pumping dollars into video games? Just an observation from a former restaurant owner.
The coliseum is really worth visiting. Even if you live on the east shore the trip is worth it, you can bowl, arcade, eat, shoot pool, hit the wing buffet, get maggie moos ice cream, or just hang out at one of the 2 bars. The place has over 2 dozen beers on draft for $2 a pint anytime. Make the trip its worth checking out.

Tried their Roasted Mushroom and Tomato pizza tonight. The flavor was good- lots of garlic, cheese and thick sliced toppings.
The crust was chewy, could have been a little crispier.
