My wife and I dined here and were pleasantly surprised. The service was good and the food was excellent. My steak was done to my liking and tasted great. The homemade peanut butter desert was wonderful. They could invest a little more in the interior to give it the contemporary feel they are trying to have. This place is a big improvement to the prior restaurant.

What a great new addition to the area. I stopped in one day for lunch because I was in the area(never knew of the place prior to this). The service was quick, friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered the special Blackend Orange Roughy salad with an Asian type dressing… Wow!!!!!, very different very tasty, spicey but not too hot. I work out of my car in sales, I will stop any time I’m in the area. Nice and clean over all and yes clean neat bathrooms too!!! I’ve returned 2 times since my first visit, not sure if one visit was better than an other but they were all beyond my expectations…Did I mention food comes out quick for those on a lunch time crunch. Thank you Fireside keep up the great work….Bob B.

We gave this restaurant a try one evening. The decor looked pleasant enough and the service was adequate, but those are the few positive things I can say about this recently opened restaurant. It was mild summer weather outside, but the restaurant was uncomfortably cold. I was wearing a long sleeve knit top, and my friend was wearing a cardigan sweater - we were both shivering. The interior design did nothing to absorb sound, so my dinner companion and I found it all but impossible to hear each other over the voices of the other diners. The entrees we chose were in the $18 to $21 range, and were disappointing and overpriced. The food was so bland and boring, I found myself thinking that I’ve had better stuffed flounder and better caesar salad at 83 diner…! My dinner companion was equally unimpressed with her chicken chesapeake, which she also said had very little flavor. We spent $50 on a terrible dining experience, and that didn’t even include any appetizers or bar beverages. With all the strikes against this place, I won’t be going back.
