Best restaurant in the area for steak and seafood. The service is also excellent. My husband had steak and I had all you can eat crablegs. We will definitely be going back whenever we are in the area again.
This place is great, I have visited it a few times over the past couple of months. The prices are well within reason. The waitress, Chrisa is awesome. I look forward to the next time I have to do business in the Harrisburg area….I know where my reservations will be.
I went to Fireside for lunch with my parents one Sunday and found it to be completely terrible. Everything on the menu was over priced. It is New Cumberland Pennsylvania for goodness sake not New York City. There is no reason Fireside needs to charge so much. After the initial shock of the price wore off I ordered french onion soup and it was terrible. It tasted sweet and I couldn’t even finish it. My mother’s salad looked like a salad you would get on an airplane. Over all it was really awful and I see no reason to go there again.
this place was amazing!!! my husband had the prime rib this cut of meat was no joke! it was huge, tender, and very flavorful. the azjou sauce was homemade and not from the pan drippings, it was an actually sauce that topped it off! i had a crabcake and a filet mignon. my steak was so tender and prepared to my liking that i couldnt believe it. my crabcake you could tell was all real meat and no fillers. it was broiled just right. my blackforest martini was insane not to sweet and not bland, just right. also my chocolate peanut butter pie was to die for. my waitress was great i never had a dirty plate infront of me and never had any empty glass. id recommend chris anyday (shes a female). very good. the prices were so good. especially for the economy. they work to please us instead of themselves!!! best restaurant in new cumberland!!! keep up the good work fireside well be back faithfully. chelsea.
Gave the place a try and what a great dinner. For 25 bucks I got a big strip steak, crab cake, and a large piece of Ahi Tuna. Great price, fantastic waitress, and the food was superb. I’ll be back within the month with my family.
My wife and I dined here and were pleasantly surprised. The service was good and the food was excellent. My steak was done to my liking and tasted great. The homemade peanut butter desert was wonderful. They could invest a little more in the interior to give it the contemporary feel they are trying to have. This place is a big improvement to the prior restaurant.
What a great new addition to the area. I stopped in one day for lunch because I was in the area(never knew of the place prior to this). The service was quick, friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered the special Blackend Orange Roughy salad with an Asian type dressing… Wow!!!!!, very different very tasty, spicey but not too hot. I work out of my car in sales, I will stop any time I’m in the area. Nice and clean over all and yes clean neat bathrooms too!!! I’ve returned 2 times since my first visit, not sure if one visit was better than an other but they were all beyond my expectations…Did I mention food comes out quick for those on a lunch time crunch. Thank you Fireside keep up the great work….Bob B.
We gave this restaurant a try one evening. The decor looked pleasant enough and the service was adequate, but those are the few positive things I can say about this recently opened restaurant. It was mild summer weather outside, but the restaurant was uncomfortably cold. I was wearing a long sleeve knit top, and my friend was wearing a cardigan sweater - we were both shivering. The interior design did nothing to absorb sound, so my dinner companion and I found it all but impossible to hear each other over the voices of the other diners. The entrees we chose were in the $18 to $21 range, and were disappointing and overpriced. The food was so bland and boring, I found myself thinking that I’ve had better stuffed flounder and better caesar salad at 83 diner…! My dinner companion was equally unimpressed with her chicken chesapeake, which she also said had very little flavor. We spent $50 on a terrible dining experience, and that didn’t even include any appetizers or bar beverages. With all the strikes against this place, I won’t be going back.
