I don’t know if it was the presentation or what…but I wasn’t very impressed with my lunch. The blue chips were awesome, but the pulled pork sandwich left me rather flat. The sauce wasn’t bad, but the bun was on the dry side and I just remember looking down at my plate and thinking “this is all I get for $8.95?” I love a good pulled pork barbeque and was hoping Memphis Blues would deliver, but I haven’t had any desire to go back.
YUM! I’ve been to the Palmyra and Mechanicsburg locations and have had great times at both. The Blues Chips are my favorite appetizer, followed closely behind by the fried pickles. Upon walking in the restaurant, the smoky goodness overtakes you…in a pleasant way. They have one of the best beef brisket I have tasted.
