10 Reviews to “Miyako Sushi on 2nd”
February 28th, 2008
Being that I work downtown and love sushi I was only pleased with one roll…the tai-tai roll. When I placed a to go order for the office they skipped us on ginger, soy and wasabi and they even double packed orders and forgot items. I no longer go b/c this was continuous problem. I’d take Fuji Do over them anyday

Being a sushi addict and everything else being booked out New Years eve downtown we walked into to this place. Service was friendly and although the back of the place isn’t that elegant it made for a nice quiet meal. The cooked sushi was huge and reminded me of comfort food. Sadly nothing we ordered tasted really fresh and I questioned if the fish was from frozen. Price wise its more than Fuji do for what you get and the hand rolls were a joke.. small and over the presentation of the sushi dishes wasn’t put together with the care it might of been for the place.

If you like various types of maki/rolls, this place is for you. If you’re more into the individual pieces of sushi, you may want to try another restaurant.

Just had dinner at Miyako last night. Excellent, fresh sushi (including the wonderful Christmas roll) and quick service. Highly recommended!
