The wife and I first tried Mr G’s when we weren’t willing to wait 30 minutes or more for an outside seat at either of the Wormleysburg “deck” bars. And I’m glad we did. We didn’t have reservations but we were seated right away with a nice river view. Food and service were both very good, and prices were reasonable. Getting to the restaurant requires a fairly roundabout route, so maybe that’s keeping the crowds away (for now) but it’s well worth the trip. A great, relaxed alternative when you want a tasty bite to eat and a frosty beverage without all the headache of those other deck bars farther south.

I wish the owner and his wife were as nice as the rest of the staff and customers. The food is not very good, but the guy who owns the place and his wife need to learn a little customer service…..they are rude, arrogant and unattractive both inside and out. I wouldn’t step foot in their establishment if they paid me. You can bet, I’m telling every school teacher I know to stay away….Morgans here we come!

Great food and way - way - way above average service…

Only had beer and a gyro here, but the gyro was delicious! Great service and pleasant setting too. Not the typical local crowd at all, a great experience all around.
