This restaurant has changed its name to Civitas, and should not be confused with the previous Table 15. I’ve had the opportunity to eat here twice, and sampled my wife’s dishes both times, and everything was excellent. The staff and the owner/chef are very welcoming. We were there for the band that plays Thursday night, and it was a very good time.
I live in the neighborhood in which Table 15 is located. Although we haven’t been to the restaurant, I would advise the new owner to more actively market and even to consider a name change. The old Table 15 website is still up (along with its bad reviews on Pennlive.com), and I was a disappointed patron on more than one occasion. After stopping by to look at the menu, the chef (the owner?) invited us in and told us that he is eager to establish Table 15 as a neighborhood eatery. We’re all for that, and look forward to eating there soon.
The New Table 15 is completely different. People that wrote the bad reviews went there BEFORE Chef John took over the helm. Chef John Payne brought his skills from the highly regarded 2201 In the Boro to his own establishment as well as his own personality. From the second you walk in you feel completely at home. The decor is amazing and has a beautiful ambience to it. The relaxed atmosphere is complimented by jazz sessions from local musicians. Its BYOB which is always a plus. The small yet exciting menu consists of appietizers such as calamari, and possibly the best crab dip I have ever tasted. The roasted tomato soup with blue cheese is another favorite. The menu changes every few months. Currently the Espresso encrusted steak is one of the best steaks you can get in the area. The chefs cook them to perfection and add the hint of espresso to really make the steak melt in your mouth. Be sure to say yes to the free homemade sangria made by Chef John himself. The Asian chicken is a large portion of orange sauce inspired chicken that is fall off the bone. So take the 2 min ride north of resturant row and treat yourself and your loved ones to a wonderful dining experience, one of the top 5 places to go in the area.

From the looks of the website, the owners are still the same company.
