We went to the one at Union Deposit a few weeks ago in the late afternoon. We got there and no one was at the hostess station, and there were two other parties sitting in the waiting area. We thought they had been greeted and were waiting for a table. Two young girls (early 20’s) came in and hailed a waitress, who was obviously their friend. The waitress came right out to them and after some whispering she took them thru and seated them right in plain view of all of us. She did not say a word to those of use that were waiting or even acknowledge us. The manager then came out and asked how many was in our party. We said “two” and then found that the other two parties waiting had not been greeted yet. He was very condescending to everyone waiting in the lobby. Said “we had a party of 28 off a bus, so you’ll just have to wait until we clean up”. The restaurant was not by any means full. Most tables were vacant. I asked if we could get seated in the same manner as the two young girls who knew the waitress. He literally rolled his eyes and said “everyone should calm down”. We had been standing there about 20 minutes, and the two parties before us were there who knows how long. I told him we would go elsewhere and we left.

We ate at the West Shore location a few weeks ago when we were trying to fit dinner into a tight schedule before shopping at Lowes.

Not usually into chain restaurants, but this wasn’t bad. The Caipirhinas were sort of weak. The deep fried mac and cheese bites were amazing. The Jack Daniels Pulled Pork Sandwich was actually really good.

The service was decent, and it was mid-week so it wasn’t busy.
