Fantastic food, and fantastic service. My experience last night was too good not to share. Our waiter Austin was excellent he was very knowledgeable and extremely attentive. We felt welcome as soon as we walked in, what a lovely way to start the weekend. It was hard to decide what to order, the choices were all great. We ended up with their bistro salmon and a bistro steak. The grilled salmon had a dill sauce that was refreshing and my salmon was cooked perfectly. The tenderloin was over eggplant parmesan with a mushroom madeira sauce. The meal was the best I have had in Harrisburg – YUM! As a bonus it was a BYOB.

The food here was ok but the waitress was rude. The front area where we were seated was very cold and too small for the tables they have in there. My chair was touching the chair of the person behind me and I was pulled in as far as I could.

Went here last night for a special occasions. Staff was very nice, if not the most attentive we’ve ever seen. The food was also good — didn’t blow our minds or anything, but it was good in every respect. Nice atmosphere, and all of the other customers seemed to be enjoying themselves. We’d definitely go again.

Wonderful dinning experience all around! I had the crab dip and the halibut. Both were great! Our waitress was pleasent and made great suggestions. It was a blast!

Worth A try! It’s great! Great food, great service, great atmosphere! Totally non smoking and you can bring your own alcohol!

I have taken a couple of dates to this resturant and no matter what the occassion it is a great place to have fun and eat. The waitresses were very nice and very helpful with menu choices and making recommendations. It is a BYOB which is great for the wallet. The food is terrific. I was there for Valentine’s Day and the atmosphere was fun and romatic. They had ballons floating everywhere!

I have just recently been introduced to the What if in Harrisburg and it is amazing in every aspect. The staff is very friendly and accomadating. They catered to our every need. The prices are reasonable. The food- amazing! I have never had food that taste this good I hated to leave. The chef/owner even stopped by our table to see how our meal was. It is small so call ahead for reservations but other than that it is a must for dinner!

My boyfriend and I have loved “What If” in Harrisburg for the last four years… Everytime we go there we have excellent food. However, the staff is extremely lacking… This last trip we didn’t get our bread until the end of the meal. Our second bottle of wine was not opened until we asked. Neither of the two bottles we took were placed in an ice bucket for us. Our orders were incorrect and the bill was $20 higher then what it should have been and the waitress just laughed it off. Extremely unclassy staff.
