As far as I know, this is the only Japanese restaurant in the area that is owned by Japanese.
I really loved their sashimi in particular.
I don’t know how they did it but many sashimi pieces I had felt like melting in my mouth.
If you are looking for something more authentic and different this is the place to be.
The Okinawa noodle soup and Agedashi Tofu are quite well done. Other than sushi, they also have
Japanese curry dishes, Doburi(rice bowls), and my childhood favorite, Nabeyaki Udon(sea food noodle soup usually served with tempura shrimp).
It’s a small family type of environment so it may not be the place for large crowds. I also suspect they come from Okinawa as I have never seen Okinawa noodle soup in other Japanese restaurants,
even in Japan.
Without a doubt, this place has THE best japanese cuisine I’ve ever had; and I’m no stranger to sushi. Service, cleanliness, decore, everything exceptional. The teryaki chicken was unbelievable. I seriously was ready to drink up the leftover teryaki sauce with a straw it was that good. Trust me, this place is worth trying!

Just like a Chinese restaurant, if immigration shows up half of the employees are nervous. Good Sushi though.
