Would have to say probably the best food on second street. I have eat at many of the places on restraunt row and can say their food is top notch. Not much of a selection, but they routinely switch it up and every dish is very delicatble.
I loved the food so much that I had my wedding reception in the resturant. It was a relatively small wedding (81) people but the size of the banquest hall and the assoicated side rooms made for a very wonderful evening. My hat goes off to the staff, which were nothing but proffesional and organized with break tables down and making sure everything was in the right place and order. The chef’s did a knock out job with the food once again. All of my guests went head over heals talking more about the food than the actual wedding. If you get the chance I would extremely recommend this place for lunch, dinner or even large parties. Great job Zia’s!!!!
Great atmosphere and people. I have dined at Zia’s many times, especially at lunch, and everything has been delicious. I am a big fan of their salads, especially with blackened chicken. The staff is very welcoming.
I’ve been both impressed and disappointed with Zia’s. I thought the Pasta Carbonara was weak, but the baby lamb chops on polenta were outstanding. They have excellent lobster ravioli ( I don’t even like lobster that much) but I felt the salad preparer was too heavy handed with the balsamic vinegar reduction on the tomato/moz salad.
Came for a visit, and the best thing on the menu was an Asian tuna tartar. I wanted to have a simple pasta with tomato. The meal I had had to much grease and cream. My friend ordered a chicken dish that was confused. It had to many flavors and things included. In my experience, simple is best. The portions were out of control. When you make good meal it is not necessary to have large portions if your food is good. The owners should take a trip out of Harrisburg and try a good city restaurant for inspiration.
My girlfriend and I tried this place for the first time last evening and were pleasantly surprised. We’ve heard great things about Zia’s but never had the opportunity to check it out until now.
The food was fresh and delicious and the service was excellent! The quiet and relaxing atmosphere was a wonderful treat.
We are looking forward to checking out happy hour! We will be back soon!
Overall I like the place. The food is tastier and better priced than the Firehouse and Scotts. Almost everytime I’ve been there the atmosphere was nice and quiet and the service friendly.
If you venture there during the week in the evening you can get to know the staff even better; friendly and funny.
I have been to Zia’s at Red Door on numerous occasions and everything I have gotten has been delicious! I especially like the cajun salmon over risotto and the scallops melt in your mouth. The putanesca w/grilled tuna special is a wonderful burst of flavors.

Zia’s at Red Door is definitely the best restaurant choice if you are looking for a quality dining experience.
The have an extensive wine list & great cocktails. I recommend the Fresh Mozzarella & Roasted Tomato Salad and the Lobster Ravioli.
Excellent service, great food, perfect atmosphere and friendly people make this place!

Overpriced bland pasta. There are way better Italian options in town.

Tapas is good. I haven’t been since Zia’s and the Red Door became one, but the Red Door used to play the best music of any place downtown.
